What we stand for
The Kajiado County Alliance of Residents’ Associations (K-CARA) is a united and empowered platform that brings together residents, organizations, and stakeholders in Kajiado County to advocate for sustainable development and inclusive governance. Rooted in the principles of participatory governance, we work collaboratively with county and municipal governments to shape policies and initiatives that prioritize the needs and aspirations of all residents. Our mission is to empower citizens through structured engagement, ensuring equitable, transparent, and sustainable urban and rural development.
Guided by our core values of accountability, inclusivity, sustainability, equity, and professionalism, we strive to foster a thriving community where every voice is heard and every resident has a role in shaping the future of Kajiado County. K-CARA serves as the recognized apex body for residents’ associations in the county, bridging the gap between the people and their governments to promote civic engagement, environmental stewardship, and responsible development. Join us as we work together to create a better, more sustainable future for all.
